Fukushima water release is safe, IAEA concludes
Japan's plan to release treated water stored at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant into the ocean is consistent with relevant international safety standards, an International Atomic Energy Agency Task Force has concluded in its final report. The release would have a negligible radiological impact on people and the environment, it said.
