Polar crane tested at Novovoronezh II
Russian architect-engineer AtomEnergoProekt has completed testing the polar crane erected at Novovoronezh II. The crane will be used to install the reactor vessel of unit 1, which is scheduled for the second half of this month.

Khiagdinskoye uranium output from end-2016
JSC Khiagda has confirmed that it expects to start commercial production of uranium from its Khiagdinskoye deposit from the end of 2016. JSC Khiagda is part of Atomredmetzoloto, the uranium mining subsidiary of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom.

Rusatom Overseas names key sub-suppliers for Hanhikivi 1
Rusatom Overseas has signed contracts with several suppliers that bid for work on the Hanhikivi nuclear power plant project in Finland. A subsidiary of state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Rusatom Overseas is responsible for promoting Russian nuclear technology on the global market.

AEM company wins fuel fabrication contract for 'Proryv' project
SverdNIIkhimmash has won a RUB5.7 billion ($784 million) contract to design, manufacture and supply equipment for fuel module fabrication and the start-up of "minimum re-fabrication" of fuel for nuclear power plants. SverdNIIkhimmash is a subsidiary of Rosatom's engineering division Atomenergomash.
