China and Canada have signed an expanded memorandum of understanding on nuclear cooperation, while the China National Nuclear Corporation and Candu Energy have agreed to cooperate on nuclear fuel development.

France's Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN) has agreed to extend its collaboration with Belgium's Nuclear Research Centre (SCK-CEN) while entering a cooperation agreement with Spanish engineering firm Tecnatom.

A formal cooperation agreement has been signed between Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) and the UK's Sellafield Ltd. It follows the earlier signing of an initial cooperation statement between the two companies.
