Westinghouse Electric Company and ČEZ have signed an agreement for the supply of VVER-440 fuel assemblies from next year for the Dukovany nuclear power plant as it switches from Russian-supplied fuel.

Three low-enriched uranium fuel test assemblies have successfully been tested in Belgium's BR2 research reactor. The Belgian Nuclear Research Centre plans to fully convert the reactor from using highly-enriched uranium in 2026.
