Argentina and Brazil sign MoU on radioisotopes and research
Argentina's National Atomic Energy Commission and Brazil's National Nuclear Energy Commission have signed a memorandum of understanding which they say will strengthen their on-going collaboration in the area of peaceful uses of nuclear technology relating to their planned new research reactors.

Argentina and France extend nuclear collaboration
Argentina's National Atomic Energy Commission and the French Alternative Energies & Atomic Energy Commission have signed a cooperation agreement on the peaceful use of nuclear technology and new energy technologies that expands on one signed in 2010.

Hyundai builds partnerships in Poland
South Korea's Hyundai Engineering & Construction has signed a series of agreements with Polish institutions and construction companies in an effort to tap into the country's nuclear power and infrastructure markets. The company is also establishing an office in Warsaw to create "a bridgehead" for entering other Eastern European markets.

Japan, UK enhance cooperation on HTGRs
The UK's National Nuclear Laboratory and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactors, as well as a memorandum for collaboration on the next stage of the UK HTGR Demonstration Reactor programme.

Studsvik considers SMR deployment at Nyköping site
Swedish nuclear technical services provider Studsvik has signed a memorandum of understanding with small modular reactor project development company Kärnfull Next, which is investigating the possibility of constructing and operating SMRs on the Studsvik industrial site near Nyköping on Sweden's east coast.
