Dome installed at second Chinese EPR
Construction of the second EPR unit at the Taishan nuclear power plant in China's Guangdong province has reached a major milestone with the dome of the reactor building being lowered into place. It comes less than a year after the dome was installed at the first unit there.

Candu expands cooperation with China
Candu Energy has signed an agreement with three China National Nuclear Corporation subsidiaries to expand their cooperation in the development of thorium and recycled uranium as alternative fuels for new Candu reactors.

Chinese contract for Bechtel

Nuptials at Ningde

Latest Chinese nuclear milestone
Yangjiang 3 is the latest Chinese nuclear power reactor to see the emplacement of its containment dome. Construction projects already underway should see China bring online some 27 new reactors by the end of 2015 - in addition to the 15 units currently in operation.
