Cost of Summer AP1000s increases
Having said that construction of two AP1000 units at the VC Summer nuclear power plant in South Carolina faces a delay of at least one year, the consortium building the reactors now expects the units to cost an additional $1.2 billion.

Westinghouse signs eight new US fuel contracts
Westinghouse has booked nearly $500 million worth of additional nuclear fuel contracts with eight utility customers in its Americas region within the past year. The contracts encompass the fabrication and delivery of nuclear fuel and associated engineering to 13 nuclear power plants, the Toshiba majority-owned company said yesterday.
