Days after raising USD4.14 million towards research and development of its ZEUS portable advanced nuclear microreactor, NANO Nuclear Energy Inc has formed a subsidiary to develop, improve, and accelerate domestic US production of high-assay low enriched uranium (HALEU).

Clean Core Thorium Energy and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission have begun the planning phase of a pre-licensing review of Clean Core's ANEEL thorium and high-assay low-enriched uranium fuel, the company has announced.

A floating autonomous robot could soon play a key role in safeguarding used nuclear fuel around the world.
