IAEA approves 'fuel bank' agreements
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors has approved two agreements enabling the agency to move to full-scale implementation of its proposed low-enriched uranium (LEU) 'fuel bank' in Kazakhstan.

IAEA board considers Fukushima and LEU 'bank'

KazAtomProm CEO dies suddenly aged 44
Nurlan Kapparov, the chief executive officer of Kazatomprom, passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Kapparov, who was 44, suffered a heart attack during a working visit to China, the Kazakh uranium mining company said today.
