Areva continues Czech appeal
Areva has filed legal action against the Czech anti-monopoly office claiming that its decision not to allow the French reactor vendor to appeal against the disqualification of its bid to build two new units at the Temelin nuclear power plant was unlawful.

Construction begins on Tianwan 4

Partnership agreed for Polish plant
Four state-owned companies have agreed the shareholdings they will each hold in the entity set up to build and operate Poland's first nuclear power plant. Utility Polska Grupa Energetyczna will retain a 70% stake in the company, PGE EJ1.
