Advanced reactor plant developer Oklo has expanded its partnership with Centrus Energy with a memorandum of understanding covering the development of the Aurora powerhouses and High-Assay, Low Enriched Uranium fuel supply.

Westinghouse has announced the creation of a centre of excellence for Low Enriched Uranium Plus fuel manufacturing at its Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility in Hopkins, South Carolina.

A long-term agreement with Westinghouse for the licensing and supply of VVER-440 fuel assemblies has been signed as part of Slovenské elektrárne's efforts to diversify its supplies for power plants in Slovakia.

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission has approved Xcel Energy's application to allow increased storage of used nuclear fuel at the Monticello nuclear power plant site, enabling the plant to operate for at least ten more years. Terrestrial Energy has signed a manufacturing and supply contract with Westinghouse subsidiary Springfields Fuels Limited to deliver a pilot Integral Molten Salt Reactor fuel plant in the UK, paving the way to provide the fuel to support future fleet deployment of such reactors. The project is receiving support from the UK government's Nuclear Fuel Fund.

Japanese utilities Chugoku Electric Power Company and Kansai Electric Power Company plan to jointly investigate the construction of a used fuel interim storage facility in Kaminoseki town in Yamaguchi prefecture. The facility would be built on land Chugoku acquired to build a nuclear power plant, plans for which have stalled.

The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation and Russia's TVEL have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the manufacture of nuclear fuel and its components.
