UK's new nuclear ambitions 'have only just begun'
The government has "only just begun when it comes to our ambitions for new nuclear in the UK", Energy Secretary Ed Miliband told the Nuclear Industry Association's Nuclear 2025 conference in London. He said the government has plans for further reactors - both large and small - and has initiated a search for suitable sites.

Equinix signs up for power from first Stellaria reactor
French molten salt reactor developer Stellaria has signed a pre-order agreement with data centre developer and operator Equinix. Under the agreement, Equinix has secured the first power capacity reservation on the Stellarium, the reactor that Stellaria plans to deploy starting in 2035.

Terra Innovatum, developer of the SOLO micro-modular reactor, has signed a Letter of Intent with US technology firm Uvation to launch a 1 MWe pilot programme with a strategic option to scale up to 100 MWe supporting Uvation's rapidly-growing AI and data centre infrastructure needs.
